Drop-off Day wasn't hard once I got out of the car. I didn't cry afterwards.
I was taken to get my name tag and all of my language books, and then I
met my district. They rock. There are four Elders and four Hermanas and
we are all going to the Rosario, Argentina mission, except for Hermana
Nunez who is going to the Phoenix Arizona Mission. I am hoping to attach
group pictures, but I don't know if I'll be able to. If I can, I will
label all of the people.
Top Row- Hermanos Pearson, Williams, Aubrey, and Blackmon
Second Row- Hermanas Allen (my companion), Nunez, Hone, Spencer (Me!)

It's already been an
extremely spiritual experience, and I've only been here for 6 1/2 days!
Yesterday I got to sing for Elder Oaks!! It was so amazing! I am also
going to be in the choir for our Thanksgiving program which will feature
a very special guest. I don't know who it will be, though. I'm excited
for it. Hermana Nunes was sick, and mi companera said she should get a
blessing and she asked the Elders in our district to do it. They did,
and even though they were stumbling and looking through the handbook to
see how to do it the right way, it was one of the most spiritual
experiences of my life.

I don't have hardly any
time left, but I will try to write as much as I can. It snowed a couple
of times, and even though it didn't stick, it was still super pretty!
I love it here, and I can't wait to get to Argentina! We leave the 29th of December, sorry Brinn, but I don't have actual flight plans yet.
My
email is titled "Close the Castle Gate" because one of the Elders in my
district has the same facial expression as Alexander from Project Runway
(Editor's note: vacant, open-mouthed) and so the Hermanas in my district came up with
that saying for him.
I have to go now; I love and miss you all,
Hermana Spencer
I love and miss you. Have a great time and I am so glad that you are having such a wonderful, spiritual experience.
