"A new trainer that doesnt speak english?" "Most likely." "BRING IT ON" - Week Twelve 2/10/15

Week 12-
Wow. This week. Wow. We have transfers tomorrow, and... both of us are leaving. Hermana Yi is leaving me to be a sister training leader, and I am going to Rosario, Parque Urquiza with a NATIVE.  My second trainer is going to be a native!! I am so scared! But I know that if the Lord wants me to go there, then I can handle it. Apparently, my new area is in the city city. Not so sure how I feel about that either... I really like pueblos. But, once again if the Lord wants me to serve in a city, I can handle it.
Just in case you want to know, I will have transfers on

Anyway, tuvimos muchos milagros esta semana.
1- We were walking down the street, and we heard someone running, and we turned around to a little girl running at us. She yelled "Are you Mormon?" When we said yes, she told us that her mom wanted to talk to us. We went to her house and taught a very short lesson, and set up a return appoinment and then another and then another. She is such a great woman, and I beileve with my whole heart that she will get baptised. Just... not with us, apparently. :(

2- One of our menos activos, Hermano Ayala´s birthday is today, and so on Saturday he invited us over for asado (I GOT TO TRY ASADO!!! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!! I CRAVE IT EVERY DAY NOW!!!) Ahem, anyway, we told him that we would make him brownies, but when we went to the store to buy the stuff, we realized that we dont actually know how to make brownies, so we bought cake mix and then we didnt have enough eggs, so I eyeballed oil and added some m&ms in it and some cookies on top. Then, our oven is SUPER hot, so we put in in for 15 minutes, turned off the oven,  took it out for 10 minutes, turned the oven back on for like 4 minutes, and then left the cake in for the rest of the night. In the morning, we covered it with dulce de leche, and prayed really hard on the walk to their house. When we ate it, it was SO GOOD! It was such a miracle, and, AND it was just like brownies!!

3- We have a family of non active members that we do Noche de Hogar with (the same family that we did the paper cranes with) and this week they had to do the stuff, and it went really well! The mom had the mensaje, and it was great! She said that her daughter was having a hard time with coming up with a game, and so she helped her because she remembered doing it with her dad! It was really special.

4- We had a menos activa come to church that hasnt been in 6 years :D

5- Another menos activa came to church and afterwards, in her house for lunch, she called me Hermanita, and usually she doenst talk at all. She also yelled at us for not telling her when our luch appoinments fall through because she said that she can feed us. It was so special.

I also had a not so good expirence this week. On the way to Hermana Monica Tevez´s house, (NdH familia) I slipped and fell in mud and it covered my whole right leg, in my shoe, my bag, and it got on my dress. It was fine though. Kind of funny, actually.

When we were at the Ayala´s house, Hermano asked me if I had any pictures of my family and he said that Haley was the prettiest one. "Muy hermosa". It wasnt creepy at all, though. I promise.
And, I bought another mate cup. And a speaker that looks like a Pepsi cup :)

Con Mucho Amor,
Hermana Spencer
