Small Miracles are Still Miracles/The Miracle of the Plaque - Week Ten 1/26/15

Heavenly Father knows me and he loves me and he loves every single one of his children. Of this, I testify. This week, we had to take a bus to another part of our area to visit a less active member of our branch because her son wants to be baptised. When we got off the bus, we started walkind to her house, but I wanted to take a picture because the area is super pretty. I went to fix my name tag, and it wasn´t there. I started to freak out because I only have one name tag, and how am I supposed to preach if I don´t have a name tag?? I immediately said a prayer, and we started to retrace our steps and look for the tag. We walked all the way back to where we got off the bus, and we walked into the grass on the side of the road and my name tag was just sitting there in the grass, face up, and facing me so that I could read it. It was a miracle.

My name tag, where we found it
Anyway, this week. Hmmmmmm. No se. We had the only re-activated member in our zone, which was cool. She is a really great woman and her children are so cute. She has a 4 year old  named Delphina who is that custest little girl ever. I can´t ever understand a word she says, but she always compliments my dresses.

Hermana Yi, new friends, and a couple of cute chicks
Last week we ate so much junk food, it was sick. I discovered that a certain brand of cookie comes with stickers and I ate 4 tubes of them last week cause I wanted the stickers. And we each bought a 1/2 kilo of helado and ate it over the week. Que triste. BUT one of our menos activas said that I look skinnier. Take that, cookies!

Yum!
At the house of one of our menos activas, a mosqito landed on my arm and I killed it and there was a giant splat of blood on my arm. That little bugger had already eaten and it wanted more, and I killed it and I got blood on my arm. I also got bitten by another mosquito on on my ankle at Lorena´s house. We were making gnoccis (sp) and I was absentmindedly scratching my ankle on the table leg and scratched off the outside layer of skin on my ankle. Then I got Off in it, and so that was great. Now it´s just a mosquito-bite sized scab.

Homemade empanadas
We only had one investigator at church because Lorena got food poisoning from the food we ate together (o.O) and couldn´t come. We had 57 people at church though, and that was super bien! One of our other investigators says that she will come, but never actually comes. It´s really sad.

Oh! Oh! Oh! My mission is splitting this summer! I might be moved to the Santa Fe mission in Junio or Julio. I want to stay in Rosario, though. We´ll see. I´ll go where the Lord needs me.

That´s about it. I love all of you, and hope you are diong well. I am. :P

Com Mucho Amor,
Hermana Spencer
